"My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations" - Isaiah 56:7b

St. Elmo Avenue Baptist Church (ABC)

At St. Elmo Avenue Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN we take seriously the Scripture, also quoted by Jesus, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations" - Isaiah 56:7b.  Prayer is the engine that drives all of God's work.

With prayer support in place, we then respond to God's command to every believer:  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matt. 28:19-20a).
