St. Elmo Avenue Baptist Church (ABC)
Here at St. Elmo Avenue Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN we take seriously the Scripture, also quoted by Jesus, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations" - Isaiah 56:7b. Prayer is a main focus in our worship services, especially on Wednesday night, and permeates all of our ministry.

Ministry Update
Tennessee Temple students, learn about ministry opportunities for which you will receive Christian Service credit.
What God is doing here is a direct result of the prayers of God's people. Many people are growing in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. **At the memorial service for Barbara Kittle on Wednesday, a lady we have been praying for accepted Christ!! Others took booklets to learn more about the life they can have in Jesus! Praise the Lord!
The men of our church have finished reading Neal Anderson's book "Victory Over The Darkness" and are now reading his book "Bondage Breaker". This is the basis for the men's bible study on Monday nights.
On Thursday, July 1st, at 5:30pm, we began weekly prayer meetings that focus on nothing but prayer. This is in addition to our regular Wednesday night service. For more information, please contact Jonathan at 423-903-0030.
We recently began a teenage class for young women on Wednesday nights, utilizing the teen version of the same study as the men's bible study. Stay tuned for more information on a similar class for young men.
